There is an enthralling energy that comes through in the music of Forever Son”

- Beat Magazine

Metabolising a breadth of timeless influences into a rare clarity of vision, Forever Son makes music for those ready and willing to be moved.

The project of dynamic frontman Jack Robbins, Forever Son draws comparisons with the likes of captivating revolutionists Nick Drake, Aldous Harding, Townes Van Zandt, and Neil Young. Equal parts conviction and restraint, Robbins captures with hallmark, genre-defying completeness all the colour and feeling of everything that makes us human.

But the sound, of course, is only one cog in Robbins’ machine. Born and bred on Victoria’s Surf Coast, Forever Son’s unique brand of artistry - including, but not limited to his borderless creativity and powerful onstage presence - is what really draws audiences in. When a captivating range of influences meet their match in an artist so compelling and potent, the result can only be this.

Robbins has since transgressed the boundaries of his folk-inspired roots, entering the realm of a deeper, fuller and more powerful sound while retaining his trademark lyrical depth. All in all, this is the sound of fearlessness.

Forever Son’s writing credits include a 7” split single with Fraser A. Gorman, singles San Jose, Crumb Kitchen, How To Smile and the celebrated debut LP, 10 Months released in 2017.

Forever Son has performed at By The Meadow, Loch Hart Music Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival and for the Porch Sessions in a multi-state tour in the summer of 2020.

Forever Son’s new album ‘Welcome To Alchemy Park’ is out now via There & Back Again Records.
